The vast majority of our  2009/10 Weddings have been the 'Complete Day' package. This option allows more time/opportunity to be creative, whereas the other packages become more about visually recording your day.

The best idea is to meet up and talk about your Wedding and what you want to achieve within your budget.

We work with you, to produce stunning, intimate, candid photo’s of Bride & Groom.


All images supplied on CD, with full print release, post production & colour correction using top of the range Apple Mac software, personalised online gallery & 60 9x6 Prints

Your Wedding is a special, one time only, joyous occasion. It’s a day of celebration with family & friends. As the Bride & Groom, you are at the centre of events, & the Bride looks stunning in a dress that has taken hours of deliberation, along with all the other many details that go together to form your special day.


My aim as a photographer is treading that fine line between recording the formality of your Wedding, and not being too intrusive, whilst creating beautiful, candid images of you and your cherished family and friends.


I know that your Wedding is only going to happen once, and I also treat all Weddings individually, even if I've photographed at the location many times before.


At the end of the day, my no 1 priority is making images for you, and I go out of my way to record the joy and happiness that happens at a Wedding. Yes, you can have beautiful, expensive albums, pay extortionate prices for reprints (as some photographers charge) but what are these things really worth if the photographs themselves aren't up to scratch? If you're passionate about creating great photographs, from a day that will never be repeated, then my photography is for you.


A typical 'Ian Scovell' Wedding begins with photographs of the bride getting ready – photographing the hair, the make-up, the shoes, the dress – and because of my relaxed and professional style you often don’t even notice I'm there, so you can feel comfortable and relaxed and enjoy the pampering.


During the day, I concentrate on producing beautiful, joyful & relaxed images, of the guests, as well as those important photographs of family and friends.

Later, once the formal images are over I will spend time with the Bride and Groom together to produce a set of creative, contemporary, honest images that capture the true spirit of the occasion, & a couple’s love for each other.

The Bride & Groom have always commented afterwards, they've had such a great time being photographed. They feel relaxed, and the experience of my photography has added to their day, rather than the many hours of standing around associated with the "traditional Wedding photographer'.
